  1. What a great idea! Having taught chemistry before I understand the struggle students experience with the abstract material in the unit with molecular geometry. Teaching such abstract concepts challenges the best students while in high school. Giving them an opportunity to view the structure in a three dimensional manner will help them to better understand how the structure actually looks. It will also help them with the understanding of how the like charges will orientate themselves as far apart as possible and create specific bond angles. This research is valid and relevant to a need of chemistry students throughout the United States. Best wishes!

  2. Alan, I think you have a great idea for your quantitative study. I decided to look at engagement and intrinsic motivation with AR, and I think those things will play a part in your research as well. Some students may be more motivated when using augmented realty that the traditional models.

    Great!
